I first met Drake at Middle Tennessee State University when he was the president of the Blue Zoo student section at home football and basketball games. I was delighted when he reached out and shared the news that his fiancee Sharilyn had accepted his marriage proposal! After sharing a Zoom call to connect with them, I instantly knew they were destined to be together. They are so much fun and have great senses of humor.
They recently moved to Illinois so that Sharilyn could pursue a law degree at Southern Illinois but we were able to work in the shoot on a weekend when they were back in town visiting family. We had some fantastic weather - a nice break from the sweltering July-August in Tennessee. Feels like shooting with old friends when you can share laughs and just be free to create and connect.
