Hi. I'm John.

I'm a freelance portrait photographer based Raleigh - you may also know me from the Nashville area; spent the last 10 years there, but I'm back in NC now. I love laughing with clients, hearing their stories, and sharing some memories along the way. I specialize in actor headshots, environmental portraits, and documentary wedding photography. My style is loose and fun while always staying focused on crafting timeless images.

I have a background in art and business marketing, jumped into filmmaking in 2010, played college baseball, and used to work for a brewery. I'm a big fan of Mexican food and you'll almost always find me in a henley shirt, Levi's jeans, and a well-traveled pair of boots.
